142.5kg, feels like my form is much improved:
Been supplementing with some rack pulls to see how it feels. Following the squats I gave 170kg plus two smallest 12" Iron Woody bands a pop, pretty much right from my sticking point:
I was pretty pooped after training legs and hitting my lower back and abs as well. Headed down to Centaur to lend a hand with moving some crap around the gym. The new log was sitting there and I just couldn't resist. lol. Bear in mind this was the first time I've tried a log. 100kg log:
Followed this up with 105kg log:
All in all a good day. Squats feeling much more solid and as I say, form improved I think. My lower back is mince meat today though. Trained chest and back this evening and I've managed to get a slight pull in the lateral head of my left triceps. I felt it during benching which was right at the start of my workout. I plugged away and finished the whole workout, so it mustn't be too bad. I'm going to bed now. Shattered.

Cool vid's.
Out of interest, what are your lifts like compared to your bodyweight mate?
Hey man,
Emm, squat is in and around x2
Bench about x1.5
Deadlift was at one point close to x3, but about x2.75 I think
Best chin was BW + 60%
Best dips BW + 45% 5x5
Standing military press was at best about BW
How about yourself dude? Training going well?
Man, amazing lifts.
Mine is going alright, got a 1.5BW Deadlift 1RM for the first time the other night. I usually do rep's at less than half of it so was surprised.
Other lifts coming on slowly.
Getting there though.
It is surprising how much above your working sets you can manage sometimes. Especially if you're completing the sets quickly with little rest time. When I got my 60kg chin my working sets were only 17.5kg. It was because I was completing them virtually back to back that I got such a great crossover.
Patience is key. Too many people max out all the time thinking it will do them good. Start low and go slow is the best policy :)
