Well, not to much to report really. Back to uni this week. My sleep pattern is a mess. Dunno why, but I can't seem to get to sleep until like 3 am. Then I have to get up at 7.45 to get out to uni. I was supposed to get up at 6 to train a few times this week, but after three hours sleep that just isn't going to happen. Tomorrow I have to train before uni, seeing as I want to study in the afternoon and Paul has asked me to do him a favour down in the gym in the evening. If I don't train in the morning then I don't train at all. I have to prioritize studying over pretty much everything now. These exams will be tough enough and I want to pass them all first time. It's only the last few days that I've began to get some rhythm up with my studying and information is beginning to stick. Better stay that way!
New exercises in training are making things a bit more interesting. Hopefully the strength in my delts in particular will pick up. New deadlift routine is slightly more difficult than I had hoped, but I'm hoping it's just a matter of time before I adjust and things become smoother. Bit of a trough next week, so that will be nice. I was looking for a few of the articles I was reading about on squatting, but can't seem to come across them again. If I do spot some good stuff on anything I'll be sure to give it a mention here.
Gave my low GI presentation yesterday. I think it went pretty well. Didn't stumble through it too much! Just waiting on feedback now, then I'll brush up my dissertation and submit it. Will probably fire it up online for anyone who is interested sometime in the next few weeks I reckon.
I know this is a reeeeeally boring and rushed entry, but that's pretty much how my life is now. lol. Trying to live in books and absorb as much medical info as possible. It would be nice if something exciting that I could talk about happened in my life.
Thought for the Day:
"Life is intrinsically, well, boring and dangerous at the same time. At any given moment the floor may open up. Of course, it almost never does; that's what makes it so boring"
